Tropical Storm Arthur Forms Off Florida Coast

Posted July 1st, 2014 @ 9:01am

Tropical Storm Arthur has formed in the Atlantic, off the coast of Florida.  Forecasters tracking the first Tropical Storm of this year's hurricane season say Arthur could become a hurricane just in time to ruin July 4th celebrations for millions.  A Tropical Storm watch is already in effect in parts of Florida.  While it's too early to predict the exact path of the Storm, it could track north up the Eastern Seaboard forcing the cancellation of fireworks shows all along the way.  Arthur is currently packing 35 mile-per-hour winds.
