T.I. Wants Gun Control, But Doesn't Want To Lose Right To Bear Arms

While speaking to TMZ, T.I. weighed in on the gun control debate and he had two conflicting feelings about it.

The rapper, who's from Atlanta, Georgia, said that there should definitely be regulation for the purchasing of arms. But, Tip doesn't want people to lose their right to have guns, either. "I think you should probably make it more difficult for people who aren't mentally stable to have guns," the rapper started.

Then, he continued: "I just honestly feel like if you lose the right to bear arms as a citizen, then it's easy to enslave, you know what I'm saying? It's easy for the government to enslave people when they don't have the right to bear arms."

When speaking about how the government should amend how people get guns, Tip added: "I think mental stabilization needs to be a big priority. I think that just not being a felon isn't enough. We see that, that doesn't work... People think that the felons are the ones that's causing all of the problems. But, it seems as though people who have been given gun licenses, who've bought guns legally, those are the ones who are causing all of the mass hysterias. I think that our system is broken."
