Lil Baby Teases Drake Collab: 'I Got A Song For Him Right Now'

Get ready for another collab from Lil Baby and Drake.

In a recent interview with Icebox jewelers, the Atlanta rapper revealed that he and Drizzy have been in the studio working on a new track together.

“I got a song for him right now. I done went to the studio like two times! I ain’t feel it yet,” Lil Baby shared before noting that creating the track has been challenging since the song is a bit slower than his normal uptempo pace. “All the slow songs, they really… It takes me longer to rap, ’cause like, I don’t really care what I say on a song. But with Drake, it’s like, I be trying to think about it."

He added, "And that’s what makes it harder for me, ’cause like, I’m thinking. When I don’t even think, I just rap. ‘Cause it’s Drake, I get kind of like, damn!”

As fans know, the rappers have a history of working together. Back in 2018, they released "Yes Indeed" and earlier this year Drake dropped his Lil Baby assisted-track "Wants and Needs"

While it's unclear when their next collaboration will drop, fans have speculated that it could be featured on Drizzy's upcoming album Certified Lover Boy.

Late last month, Drake confirmed that his long-awaited sixth LP was finished and would be released soon.

"Album's cooked," he said during a radio interview. "Looking forward to delivering it to you. I hope everybody in the world is blessed. I hope everybody has their drinks, everyone's locked in. Good vibes and good energy for this weekend."

The Canadian rapper continued, "And for the rest of you heathens, I wanna tell you, 'cause I know you're listening, 'cause you're always free. Don't trouble people's kids, don't bother people's soul. Know what I'm sayin'? OVO, we aim for that head. We don't aim to please. You see it. Certified Lover Boy on the way. And that's for anyone in the way."

Certified Lover Boy was originally set to drop in January but was pushed back after Drake had knee surgery following an injury.
