COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. - Fresno State senior Jewel Ash earned the Mountain West's first Outdoor Track Athlete of the Week honor of 2025, the conference office announced Tuesday afternoon.

Last weekend at the Hornet Invitational, Ash recorded the third-fastest times in program history in both the 100-meter hurdles (13.61) and 400-meter hurdles (58.17). The transfer won her race in the 400 and took third in the 100. Her time in the 400mh leads the conference and ranks No. 7 in the country while her time in the 100mh is second in the MW and 25th in the NCAA.

The Vorhees, N.J. product also helped the Bulldogs' 4x400 relay team to a win and post the eighth-fastest time in program history at 3:39.02. The time currently leads the MW and ranks No. 11 nationally.

Ash and the Bulldogs will be back home this weekend in the Central Valley, hosting the West Coast Relays on Friday and Saturday.
