FRESNO, Calif. - Fresno State swim and dive head coach Jeanne Fleck announced the addition of Clare Luken to the 2025-26 roster on Tuesday afternoon.
Luken comes to Fresno State from the University of South Carolina with three years of eligibility remaining. The Tempe native spent her first collegiate season as a Gamecock swimming the butterfly and freestyle events.
"We're really excited to get Clare, she's a great young lady that has a positive attitude," said head coach Jeanne Fleck. "She'll add great depth to the 200 & 100 butterfly and relays."
Prior to South Carolina, Luken was a prominent swimmer back home. She was the Arizona High School State Champion in the 200 freestyle and runner up in the 100 freestyle last year. Luken will provide great depth to the freestyle and sprint group at Fresno.
Luken is a Broadcast Journalism major and chose Fresno State for their deep culture and team atmosphere.
