FRESNO, Calif. - Fresno State men's basketball head coach Vance Walberg announced the addition of transfer Cameron Faas to the roster for the 2025-26 season, signing from Kansas City. The 6-foot-7 guard spent the last two seasons at UMKC and the two years prior at Scottsdale City College. He will have one year of eligibility remaining.
An experienced player at both levels, Faas has appeared in 128 career games over four seasons. In his two seasons at UMKC, he averaged just under 10 points per game. He ranked in the Top 10 of the Summit League in three-point average in both seasons, combining for a 37 percent average in his two seasons there.
At the junior college level, Faas was a second team All-ACCAC selection and second team All-Region pick. In his two seasons as a starter at Scottsdale CC, the team qualified for the NJCAA National Tournament both years.
Faas prepped at Arcadia High School in Arizona. He was a first team All-Region selection as a high school standout.
Saturday's announcement marks the second transfer portal addition for Walberg and the Bulldogs this offseason. Fresno State added Clemson transfer Jake Heidbreder earlier this week.
