Bulldogs sign Wofford transfer Indiya Clarke

FRESNO, Calif. - Women's basketball head coach Ryan McCarthy announces the next addition to the 2025-26 roster in Indiya Clarke, on Wednesday afternoon.

Clarke is the second transfer to sign with the Bulldogs under McCarthy this season.The incoming senior makes her way to the Central Valley from South Carolina with one-year of eligibility.

"Indiya is very sound and efficient and in our style of play, we will unlock her athleticism which is special," said head coach Ryan McCarthy. "She has a fundamental base set of skills which allows her to play multiple positions and will be very valuable in what we are trying to do. I'm excited to see how she will impact winning in our program."

The Alaskan native spent three seasons at Wofford College. The 5-foot-11 guard played in ten games with a single start for the Terriers last season. Clarke averaged 6.0 ppg, 4.0 rpg and 18.0 mpg in her junior season. The guard posted a season-high game against Southern Washington with 13 points, nine rebounds, six steals and shot 5-of-10 from the field.

Clarke's sophomore campaign featured 30 games on five starts and totaled 226 points, 174 rebounds, 12 blocks and just under forty percent from the field. Clarke notched two double-doubles, the first in her career. In her debut season at Wofford, Clarke saw action in 27 games with two starts and was a part of the 2022-23 regular season Southern Conference Championship team. It was the first-ever Southern Conference title for any Wofford women's team sport.

Clarke caps her Wofford career with 67 games including eight starts and 374 points, 287 rebounds, 38 assists and 22 steals in 1282 minutes.

Clarke joins Ashlyn Rean (UAA) as the newest Bulldog signees.
