FRESNO, Calif. - Fresno State women's basketball adds another addition to the 2025-26 roster from the transfer portal in Jaisa Gamble announced by head coach Ryan McCarthy on Monday afternoon.
Gamble comes to the Valley from the University of Alaska Anchorage in her final year of eligibility. The 6-foot senior will spend her third season under McCarthy's leadership.
Gamble, a native of San Bruno, Calif., comes off a strong season at UAA. The forward ranked third in the GNAC in steals per game (2.4 avg) and was the programs second. Gamble played the third most minutes on the team averaging 24.4 minutes per game while shooting just under forty-seven percent from the field (81-of-170). In her first season as a Seawolve, Gamble saw action in 26 games, marking five starts.
Gamble closes her career at UAA with action in 59 games and 34 starts while totaling 278 points, 230 rebounds, 125 steals and 125 steals.
Prior to UAA, Gamble spent a season at Laney College. Gamble has DI experience, playing for UC San Diego in 2021-22, seeing action in one game.
Gamble is the fourth transfer to sign with the Bulldogs joining Hedda Koehne (UAA), India Clarke (Wofford) and Ashlyn Rean (UAA).
