Luke earns spot on Paul Hornung Award honor roll

LOUISVILLE, Ky. - Fresno State running back Rayshon Luke has been named to the Paul Hornung Award honor roll for his performance at Oregon State last Saturday.

Luke was Fresno State's leading rusher with 86 yards on 12 carries. He scored one touchdown in the win. He recorded career-highs in carries and yards on Saturday. His touchdown against the Beavers was a 44-yard score, the longest touchdown run for the Bulldogs since 2023 and his longest run of the season.

The redshirt junior also added four kickoff returns for 103 yards, all career-highs. He finished the game with a career-high 190 all-purpose yards. Luke paced a team that helped defeat Oregon State for the first time since 2003, and secure their first win in Corvallis since 1991.

This season, Luke has 193 rushing yards and four touchdowns. In the return game, he has five kickoff returns for 120 yards.

The Paul Hornung Award is given annually by the Louisville Sports Commission (LSC) to the most versatile player in major college football. The Award was created by the LSC in January 2010 with the support of the Golden Boy himself, Paul Hornung, a native and lifelong resident of Louisville and member of the College and Pro Football Halls of Fame.
