FRESNO, Calif. – The Fresno State volleyball team dropped a four-set battle to Nevada on Saturday afternoon inside the Save Mart Center, falling 19-25, 25-21, 23-25, 19-25.

HOW IT HAPPENED

After a slow start in the opening frame, Fresno State found its rhythm in set two. The Bulldogs hit .222 in the set, fueled by five kills from Haluska and strong blocking from Washington and Sellers to even the match 1-1.

Set three saw the teams trade points in a back-and-forth battle, with Fresno State clawing back late but narrowly falling 25-23. The Bulldogs kept the pressure on early in the fourth, but Nevada's offense pulled away down the stretch to seal the match.

Fresno State (5-12, 1-5 MW) tallied 43 kills, 68 digs, and 14 team blocks, while holding Nevada to a .150 hitting percentage. The Bulldogs will look to bounce back on the road next week as Mountain West play continues.
